Note of indebtedness, 1719-20.

Note of indebtedness in the amount of two-hundred and forty pounds plus interest, for a ship being built at Piscataqua. Dated January 11, 1719/20, the note is between Nathaniell Ayers, blacksmith, of Boston, Joseph (Jethro) Furbur, mariner, of Portsmouth and John Barnes, merchant, of Boston. Signed by Ayers and Furbur, witnessed by William Coffin and William Hutchinson.
